Exhibition Hints, Tips and Useful Info

Thursday, 3 March 2016

It is that time of year again in Britain, where the met office issues a severe weather warning and everyone will undoubtedly go in to mass hysteria. The next day there will be two inches of snow, if that, and Britain’s transport network will go into complete melt down (pun intended).

Trains will stop running, the motorways will become clogged and buses won’t even turn up, let alone be late!

Add this scenario to trying to get your stand to an exhibition in central London with all this chaos going on.

As I see it, there are 3 immediate options available to you in this scenario:

  1. You could drive your stand there yourself and set it up. You would have to leave a day early and spend 12 hours battling traffic on the motorways.

The downside of this is that you are then shattered the next day when you need to set up the stand, which in itself is tiring. Then the day after 8 hours on your stand trying to act professional, charming and courteous to everyone who passes by. Does that sound like fun to you?
  2. You could courier the stand to the venue and take the train.

Well, we all know what couriers can be like when the transport network is not at a standstill. Do you really want to leave your fate in their hands when the entire country is in a state of panic?

Also what happens if the train is cancelled? Well you have to drive down which brings us full circle to the problems plaguing point 1.
  3. Hire a helicopter and fly everything down to central London.

The only small problem with this us we are not all Richard Branson and don’t have a spare £20,000 lying around to get us to London and back with our stand.

None of the above 3 sound very appealing do they? Luckily there is a 4th option available to you...

  1. You get us to take of everything for you.

    Problems? None whatsoever.

All you need to do is turn up on the day of your exhibition, your stand will be erected in all its glory and you don’t have to worry about a thing! Leave when the exhibition finishes, go for a drink and spend the night in a hotel. We will spend the evening breaking your stand down for you and shipping it back. We will even store it for you until your next show. The only finger you will have to lift? The one to dial room service if you fancy a late night snack!

You could even go down 3 days before and have a little spa break, make sure you are properly relaxed and in the right frame of mind for your exhibition...ask your boss, I am sure they won’t mind!
