Background
Staffordshire Business and Environment Network (SBEN) is a public/Private sector partnership, supporting and advising Staffordshire's businesses on environmental issues.


Brief
SBEN has a sound list of members who are very happy with the benefits of membership. We were tasked with raising awareness of the organisations benefits and attracting new members.


Our response
We discovered that there was an awareness of environmental issues within the target audience, but a lethargic attitude was evident, as it did not effect the day to day running of a business.

We developed 2 hard hitting strategies giving good reason to join. "Sitting on the fence" and "profits going up in smoke" Mailers were produced and a local advertising campaign was conducted in the local press and business magazines

Outcome
Managed mailers resulted in a high conversion rate to appointments and on to membership take up that was 50% higher than expected.
